part flip, part social commentary, expression of cynicism for that situation, among others. in a country where police and firemen are paid crap while lousy actors and baseball players make millions, i really do think do think that is the most likely solution. i may be wrong but, that's what i think.
so far, i haven't seen an appropiate emoticon for the above. i never use them anyway. saying something is supposed to be funny doesn't make it so. and besides, smiley faces make me puke (so does 'tee-hee'). so, it would be very inappropriate and disingenuous for me to use them.
at any rate, my comment does not preclude anyone else from responding in a very different manner. that was certainly not my intention. i just wanted to share my cynical viewpoint.
