ok, i get it now. well, if this teacher has something really valuable
to offer you, it might be easy to overlook this quirk. but, if you end up
spending each lesson becoming more and more terrified of the next mistake you
make, that's not going to do you any good. i have had some students who
needed to be coddled to do their best work and others who needed their best
beaten out of them. i guess you'll have to see if this approach will work
for you. if it doesn't, no matter what she has done for other students,
you'll have to move on. if it does work, look forward to your next beating.
