Hi!!

Re. your nodule question. If you have nodules the
thing you would notice would be that your voice would
sound husky, certainly when you sing, but also when
speaking normally. However, huskiness can also be
through laryngitis, fatique, dry vocal folds,
haemorrage and the like.

You will not feel any pain with nodules as the vocal
folds do not have any feeling. When you have an
infection such as laryngitis for example, it's
generally the muscles that are giving you pain.

Hope that's of some use? Remember, it's actually
quite hard to get nodules, so nine times out of ten,
most vocal students/users don't have them!
