pablo,
my sister was holy cross' first music major (after organic chemistry cured her of pre-med). she got into new england conservatory fairly easily for their master's in voice program. i also had a friend who had an english lit. degree from harvard. i met her as a master's candidate in voice at boston university.
if you get a general degree that includes enough theory and music history, there are plenty of grad schools that would probably be glad to have you if you can demonstrate talent and skill at your audition.
there are a lot of 'filler' type courses in undergrad music programs. it sounds like you'll be lucky enough to skip them.
