Just returned from a 2-day workshop with Barbara Conable on her body
mapping technique--an apparent off-shoot of the Alexander Technique. I
enjoyed it immensely--here wee only a few trained singers, mostly
instrumentalists. Having had some experience with Alexander about 16
years ago was helpful but she seems to take the idea much further,
encouraging true knowledge of physical structure to make use accurate.
Semantics appears to be an issue-=-=often language got in the way of
understanding--to saya nothing of past technical traing as many of us
misunderstood it. Any body out there have any experience with Barbara?
