I definitely second the promotion of Zarzuela. Here in D.C. we're lucky to
have two companies (or even more - I can't keep track) who perform
Zarzuelas frequently, if not regularly.
I'm so glad someone brought it up, because I've been struggling with what
to include as the fourth sets of songs on my recital programme - I've also
long intended to sing "Marinela", "De Espan~a vengo", and "Al pensar en el
duen~o". So it follows, naturally, that these should make up the fourth
sets of songs at my recital.
