I had the same problems when I used to come back to my parents' house for
the summer. I ended up going to a church in town where I knew the music
minister, and sealed myself in a room in the basement that had a piano.
When that was in use, I grabbed a smallish keyboard and set up in a
classroom.
I can not imagine that a church would frown on you using their facilities
for such a noble art . . . maybe as "payment" you could sing for a service
or two!
