Well, it's spring cleaning time for the old vocalis muscle! I'm returning
to the discipline of messa di voce and finding it inspiring and revealing,
as well as occasionally frustrating. What are the thought cues that you
all use to avoid the "bump" on the decrescendo? Do you find certain
tessituras easier in messa di voce?
Any thoughts and observations are welcome, although I have to admit I am
more responsive to imagery than to tech-speak. (Still, techies, speak
away...it may help somebody else!)
