Hi Peter:
I'm a bit behind in things here having just completed a week of Bach B Minor, getting over a wicked head/chest cold (it bypassed my throat fortunately) and teaching. This is one of my favorite texts: 'It is not possible to express a lofty thought or a beautiful idea with poor technique. Musical singing is possible only after developing the basic tools to perform with thoughtful expression and beauty.' I don't know where it originates, but I got it from Stuart Hamilton.
Cheers Craig, Burnaby BC
