Hi Temporarily Transplanted Vocalisters!
After long debate, and being accepted at 3 (yay!) schools to get my Ph.D. in
Music Theory, I've decided to escape Silicon Valley--(and go to Texas' version
of it.)--and attend UT Austin.
Anyway, I know that several of you have attended UT Austin, and I would
appreciate any advice on everything from cattle calls, voice lessons (I'm a
spinto soprano), apartments, etc. I will be marrying a fabulous high baritone
this July, and would appreciate getting the skinny on outside performance
opportunities. He was a resident at Opera San Jose when we met. <grin>
