I have no objection to fully-staged oratorios - depending on the oratorio.
But if you're not doing a fully-staged presentation, I think it's
imperative that you stick to oratorio "convention", i.e., no hand gestures
or major facial expressions, and holding the score.

I've always wanted to see the Bach Passions done fully staged a la the
Oberammergau and Chester Mystery plays.
