Subject:  Concerto Competition-- Suggestions, por favore?

Hi
As I said in my last email, I am looking for an
orchestrated version of "Let Us Garlands Bring". If I
cannot find that, do you have any suggestions of good
competition pieces for baritone and orchestra? This
piece must be at least 10 minutes long. I must have
it approved by the conductor of the school orchestra
to see if I am even allowed to compete with it.
I am a baritone with a range from f#2 to around f#4.
I hit a G in "Ich grolle dicht" in my junior recital,
but it was a little fuzzy. I'm open for all sorts of
suggestions, but I'm not a big fan of long runs. I
prefer something that would require vocal acting and
drama instead of vocal fireworks, because right now
all I think I have are vocal firecrackers. You
haven't let me down before on repertoire before, List.
I'd be very grateful for any more.

thanks,
Trevor
