There are basically no circumstances similar to those required of the
female voice for the male voice because even the tenor's high C is
below the formants for most of the vowels and the vocal tract can
tune any pitch within the male voice range without excessive mouth
opening. This does not preclude the use of mouth opening for other
reasons but the needs for male mouth opening are selective and not
required as they are for female voice above approximately G4.
