Hi all , I missed out on our National singing competition this year, because of my golf holidays. I just had to mention this bit of news I got,.when asking my friend who won what etc etc., The winner of the contralto solo " The Cherry Tree " {Armstrong Gibbs} was won by a man. this is a first in Ireland, has this happened anywhere else.Just wondering. Regards Leo ----Drogheda
