Lisa, I'm currently working with a student who frequently goes off
pitch and knows that she's off pitch. We've found that when she
listens to herself sing, she's more likely to be off, but when she
concentrates on listening to the piano and ignoring herself, she is
completely in tune. Might not work for everyone, but it works for
her.
