I agree that Mariah has really changed directions with
her style of music. However, I have been impressed in
her ability to express herself on a more emotinal level
within the last year.

When she first came out she would just stand there with
her hands by her side. Although a beautiful voice was
coming out of her mouth there was little emotion seen
on her face or through her body language.

I think she is just going through a phase and
trying to "find herself". Let's hope so.
