Most weddings I have performed at, either as vocalist or organist,
the bride and groom pretty much are aware of what they would like
sung during the service or as pre-nup music. Won't even begin
listing the odd things I have performed. I'm sure we all could come
up with some quite funny stories.

One suggestion for her to begin "marketing" herself:

When I lived in Des Moines, they had a Wedding "Fair" at one of
the local churches each fall. The idea for this event was for
venders to show some of their new wares and brides to come and
check out ideas. They also had a listing of singers, organist, etc
who hired out for weddings and even had a short concert of some
vocalists showcasing typical wedding music. Maybe there is
something similar near her? Who knows. Also, if she is involved
in a church, give her name to the choir director or organist. Many
times as the wedding organist I was asked to suggest a singer if
the couple had no one in particular in mind.

Good luck to her!
