Try taking some songs to a retirement home and singing for the elderly folks there. They will LOVE your voice, will be entirely grateful for your time and attention and they are the most supportive and endearing audience you can ever hope for. This might help you get your performing feet wet again and there's no pressure, because they'd love you even if you couldn't sing very well. Just someone coming and doing something nice for them is a real treat. Contact your local nursing home coordinator and schedule a time to go in. You'll be doing a good deed while you do yourself a favor as well.
Good Luck, Jessica Los Angeles
