Oshea,
As singers, I think we all suffer from nerves. I get terrible nervous
before any performance, big or small whether I've sang there a million times
before or never! One thing that seems to help me is to make myself really
nervous about 15 minutes before I go on. I don't know but this seems to
work. Because when I do this I know I have no reason to be nervous on
stage. Then I like to spend the last 5 minutes relaxing and focusing. I do
a lot of Alexander Technique (you could do any relaxation exercises, yoga,
etc) stretches and such. Then I just focus on the audience and suck their
energy from them. If your chest is getting tight, that is not good, you
will need to compensate by breathing more. Try to keep it down in your
feet, if possible, i know that sounds kind of weird. These are just some
things that help me.

Good luck
David
