Since you are looking for a recital gift for your tenor friend
may I suggest some of the following:
There are many good musician's joke books out there that
are available in Canada and USA which poke fun at all voice
types and instrumentalists, ie, The Musician's Jokebook.
There's a great online place called www.music-in-motion.com that
has everything from glasses and contact lense cases decorated
in musical patterns to posters to ties, suspenders, jewellry etc. etc.
Their selection is unsurpassed by anything I've seen on the www.
They are located somewhere in Texas, I think.
Anyway, click the link and you'll get their online catalogue.
Make sure you have the dashes between the words cuz there's a site
also called musicinmotion.com that is all about dance.
