I drink ALOT of water! So much that I spend a great deal of time in the ladies' room. I also try to keep the lower register of my singing voice warm. It seems (for me) that if my lower register is very warmed up, the upper register is much easier. Plus, it's easy to hum lower notes without attracting too much attention, while walking around town, going grocery shopping, etc. And sleep. Plenty of sleep.

I have an audition coming up in a few days, and I'm in less than ideal vocal shape. I dont have a cold or anything, but I simply feel below my vocal capacity.
I was wondering what techniques you use the days before an audition to prepare your voice.
Thanks.
