(message) I have a question to ask all the voice teachers and countertenors out there. Do you believe that an undergraduate should study countertenor? I am an undergrad right now. I started school as a tenor but experimented with countertenor. To my surprise, my countertenor voice in the
last year has become much more comfortable and better sounding than my tenor voice. Any info would be appreciated. I have done a lot of countertenor research so I know a lot about basic technique and a good deal about rep and history. I just need to know if you voice teachers out there think
that a student should study countertenor as an undergrad or if he should wait until grad school to get into that sort of thing.
