Whatever the reason it's getting pretty tiresome, but then this
is a thread that arises Phoenix like every seven-eight months. I
guess we just have to wait until it wears itself out.

I would just like to go on record as having two usable (and
unamplified!) octaves. I'm pretty pleased and not the least bit
jealous of Mariah's seven, six, five (or whatever) octaves which
are all electronically enhanced.
