I agree with DANIaka007-at-aol.com
If I could draw a slightly musical analogy;
If I was to be invited to a birthday celebration in my honour by a whole bunch of my friends and then they started to sing "Happy birthday to X, happy birthday to X, happy birthday to we can't be bothered to say your name, happy birthday to X", and then they carried on giving each other presents, getting very drunk and eating too much, I don't believe I would stay there very long.
I am not a 'religious' man, and I am not trying to point fingers. I simply believe that the 'X' thing has been used so much that people now adopt it quite innocently without realising that each time it is used, they are taking another little step closer to the complete commercialism of Christmas.
Here's wishing everyone a very merry Christmas.
