I'm sorry, but this isn't a misheard example - did anyone ever hear that the 60s song "Inna-gadda-da-vida" (sp?) was supposed to be "In the garden of eden" but the guys were too stoned to enunciate, so they just called it what it sounded like and everybody just thought it was some kind of mystic symbolic thing ...
