I agree that with young singers, some of the "don'ts" are very important. I can't believe the teenage girls who look at me in shock when I say cheerleading and singing don't mix. They really don't believe they can do permanent damage to their voice in one football game!
And, many adults don't understand why they shouldn't talk above loud background noise, e.g., bars, airplanes, vacuum cleaners, etc. And the clearing of the throat!
The audible sneezing was a new one to me, though. And I am guilty of it, too!
It's important to know of the risks, determine which may apply to you and then keep on singing and having fun. BTW, I probably wouldn't recite the whole list to a young student all in one sitting. Very daunting!
