I saw him about six years ago with the Philadelphia Orchestra, narrating a concert performance of Stravinsky's "Oedipus Rex." Fine performance!
I taped the 1950 "Show Boat" off of TCM last week, intending to watch it for him and for Marge and Gower Champion.
