I recently started teaching young male voice students and wonder if I'm adequately communicating to them where to "place" their voice. I'm a lyric sop and can assist female singers in identifying where they should "feel" their head, chest, middle voices. But, I'm not sure about the guys. I
would guess that their head voice would be resonating in the same place as when I sing in my head voice? Is that correct? (I just can hear someone saying, "Duh! That's why it's called head voice!") But is this the same with a bass? And do all men have the capability of singing in head voice?
