diane, great quote from wesley balk. balancing mechanical and imaginary thinking is a must. we have seen singers who just let it rip with no clue as to what they are doing. they get into trouble and don't know why. a lot of them just try harder. these are the people who would benefit from some mechanical thought. then there are the singers who are all dressed up with no place to go. there is a golf instructor who said "the sub-concious is a funny thing. it often doesn't no the difference between a fear and a request". target is an image. these 'little' singing robots need to develope a sense of what they are trying to do and let, or 'trust', their mechanics to support their efforts. gee, thanks for making me think about all that.
