I would recommend the "Teach Yourself Italian" pack which includes a book
and cassette. I don't know if it's available in America, but I expect
Amazon.co.uk sell it and could post it to you wherever you are. See
their website at http://www.amazon.co.uk. You could also search at
http://www.amazon.com to see if it's available directly from the USA.
