I've started working with my Vaccaj and the CD (for
baritone) and I'm struck by how deep the baritone's
(Lucio Gallo) voice comes across on the CD. Granted,
I haven't taken lessons for long, but my voice never
seems to be that deep and resonant.

Here's my question -- am I listening to a baritone
from a very different fach than mine, or can I look
forward to my voice 'dropping' quite a bit over the
next couple of years?

I realise that what I hear when I'm singing is far
removed from what everyone else hears, but to my
untrained ears Mr. Gallo sounds almost like a bass.
I'm even wondering if I'm unconsciously transposing
the song up a fifth, but I feel like I'm hitting the
notes fine when I sing just with the instrumental
version.

Thank you for the help.
