Hi Molly, and all...

The "scholarship" I am getting is hardly anything.

Molly, at the risk of stating the obvious.. are there any good 2 year
colleges in your area? Our local community college, Onondaga Community
College, is staffed with some of the best music faculty one could ever hope
for.... no, it's not the same as going to Peabody or Indiana, but many
students go to OCC for two years and then transfer out, and in my opinion
they're getting very good value for their education dollars.

Of course, this is only an option if you're a 1st or 2nd year student (and
if you're a sophomore you probably don't want to transfer out for only the
remainder of this school year)... many state schools also have top-class
music programs at a fraction of the cost of a private university.

Good luck.
