Wow. Nice person or not, it doesn't sound like she uses any technique at
all. Does she bill herself more as a coach than a teacher? Maybe she should.

If you really want a teacher that will work on your technique, it sounds like
she's not the one. The 'technique' portion of my lessons usually lasts about
1/2 hour, and involves alot more than a couple of scales.

Good luck deciding what to do, it's hard to consider leaving someone that you
like so well.
