There was a suit brought against a couple of dance teachers at a local
college a few years ago, so I would think there would be legal grounds for
action. The suit was settled out of court and the dance teachers were fired,
so it appears that the school felt that they would not win a court case. I
know that the college I teach for has very strict rules regarding
teacher/student relations. Sexual harrassment is a very hot topic in the
legal world right now, so I would think most schools would be very receptive
to complaints to prevent any legal problems. Definitely report this to
someone.
