These three are related, as one of the main deterrents to doing them is that we do not realize how loudly or how pushy we are speaking in noisy places. We may not realize how much energy it takes to talk over the noise of a car, bus, or airplane engine, not to mention the radio, a movie, a television, others' conversations, or the air conditioning. In addition, inside a bus or plane, particularly, you are re-breathing other folks' recirculated air, and it is too dry to be good for you, as well as loaded with germs.
