If they add cello, they could do Ravel's "Chanson Madecasses."

I am sure there are some Bach arias with flute obbligato, although I don't
know off the top of my head.

For something very simple, Zaninelli's setting of "The Water is Wide" in his
"Five American Folk Songs" is for voice with flute.

There are more, I'm sure!
