Hello,
does anybody know something about Canadian lyric soprano Dawn Rice
(also: Dawn Mussellam-Rice)?
We met in 1992, when she had two-year contract in Europe (in Estonia,
Latvia; singing Violetta, Gilda, Donna Anna, Nedda, Konstanze) and she
had great influence on me. I enjoyed very much her performances - she was
very
dedicated and charming on the stage, always singing a ROLE. If not always
tecnically perfect, she had a marvellous dark-coloured lyric soprano and
natural, rarely sensitive musicality.
We became friends. She told me very much about being an artist and what
does it mean to become a singer. Thanks to her, I think, I decided
actually
to become a professional singer, that's why she is so important for me!
In 1994 she left my hometown and since last letter from her (in January
1995), I have nothing heard about her. I know only that she went back to
Canada, but that's all. I have written her several letters, but got no
answers.

Maybe there is anybody who can help me to find her, I were really
grateful!

Best regards
