Hello Kevin,
Hmm, what a great sounding topic. I have pasted this into my list of affirmations. Thank you for this.
I can truly relate to reality not fitting with my understanding of it and "moments of dissociation" (or is it "disassociation"?! - which seems more familiar to me , although my spell checker didn't flag either one - I seem to been having one of these "moments" as I write, or maybe I am just making an "ass" of myself... :o)) Anyway...
"The Call" is a wonderful piece, as are all of the "Mystical Songs" of Vaughan Williams.
For what this is worth, I happen to be singing this Sunday for a service where the theme is "growing". I have chosen two pieces - "Everything Must Change" and "Lessons To Be Learned", both from Barbra Streisand's "Higher Ground" - available on cd and as printed music, published by Cherry Lane Music Company. I find this collection to be a great source for "inspirational" music.
Blessings.
