The best-paid Men-only choirs (other than Chanticleer!) are the military choruses. They regularly audition across the US and the positions, esp. for The US Army Men's Chorus are highly competitive. (Most military choruses are co-ed these days.) I did a piece on Military Choruses last year for Classical Singer; check the archives if you are a subscriber. All of the branches of the military have information on their websites about the performing groups, positions available, and audition requirements. (The military URLs are cumbersome, so just do a search on US Army etc.) You can also get info from local recruiting offices. A lot of GREAT singers have come out these choirs, and the pay and benefits are excellent. Best wishes, Cynthia Vaughn
