Hi all---

A small update in case any of you are interested in Richard's new opera:

They just had a 2nd workshop this past Sunday, and it went very well. (I
wish I could have seen it, but I was on stage elsewhere) He seems to be glad
to be back in Milwaukee, and has gotten '14 more minutes' written since he
arrived in September. (total of 20 minutes so far)

He's been working with director Dottie Danner for the workshops, but I don't
know if she's going to direct the premiere. (they don't know where & when it
will premiere yet)

The opera is based on the play "Sive," by Irish playwright John Keane.
Richard saw it while he was in Ireland 'soaking up atmosphere' for
"Ballymore."

I'll keep you posted when they do the next workshop!
